Did you know that Nike the paid the French Football Federation a record setting $400 million for apparel licensing rights over the next 7 years? That was before the abattoir that was France’s 2010 World Cup campaign, so both parties will be gingerly awaiting a reversal of fortune at the Euro 2012 next summer.
As far as the new home jersey, we like the new minimalism — even the team badge is monochrome — and the slightly darker collar along with convertible sleeves are both nice touches. The updated 11/12 France away jersey also has quite a noteworthy and unique, and we hope to be featuring it later on.
